Oak Investment Group Trading Description:

The Company oversees two different Managed Futures programs.  The first is a short options program.  The other is a program dealing mainly in Futures.  Although both trade in the Agricultural sector, each offer their own benefits.

Ag Options Program

The Agricultural Sector Option Specific Trading Program of the Advisor utilizes a short
options strangle strategy, primarily, but not limited to U.S. Exchange traded livestock
futures and options. A short options strangle strategy consists of selling (going short) an
out of the money call option, above the current futures price, while simultaneously selling
(going short) an out of the money put option, below the current futures price, effectively
bracketing the market. The intent being that the short options will expire with the
underlying futures price falling between the short option strike prices.
Selling “naked” options, i.e. going short an option without an accompanying futures
position, entails unlimited risk exposure. Specifically, should the counterparty purchaser
of an option exercise that option, the seller of that option is assigned a futures position,
with the attendant unlimited risk.

Blue Star Program

The Blue Star Program of the Advisor attempts to build on the principles of the Ag Options Program and Ag Futures Program by incorporating additional risk management strategies. The Advisor believes these additional risk management strategies will provide clients with lower volatility and a smoother overall equity curve. This program will trade primarily U.S. Exchange traded livestock futures and options.
